The YELO house is an oldwarehouse transformed in a mutlifunctional platform for creative people. I stumbled across this cute restaurant after visiting the Jim Thompson House, which is just around the corner.
Atmosphere.
What I really love about this place is its open window front and view on the canal, which creates a very cozy atmosphere. In the first floor it actually displays individual artwork and offers photography courses. Either, if you need a quick refresher after wandering through the art gallery or if you need a real energy booster after sightseeing the house of the Thai silk king – this is the restaurant you are looking for.
Price.
The prices are not comparable to street food but also no fancy dining place – reasonable prices for Thai fusion cuisine.
Food.
Short menu – super healthy! The food you find here is Thai – Western fusion food from original chicken with rice to deep fried pork belly. Even the food is a from of art here as most main courses are served in palm leaves.
Location.
It is located right next to the river and around the corner of the Jim Thompson House. You can take the BTS to Siam or Ratchathewi and wander along the canal. Here the link to Google Maps: YELO house.
