Le Dalat is a refined Vietnamese restaurant in Bangkok serving vietnamese cuisine. It has branches in the shopping mals Emporium and Emquartier. My office building was close to these two shopping mals and for lunch we were always looking for new restaurants we could try. One day we tried the branch of the restaurant Le Dalat in the Emporium.
Atmosphere.
It is located next to the grocery store and the food court on the 7th floor. It is all an open space. The kitchen is in the middle and you basically sit around it. The atmosphere is a lot different to the original restaurant. It is quite loud and you have people walking by. It is serving the purpose of a quick lunch but nothing more.
Food.
The food focuses on royal Vietnamese cuisine. Dishes made with high quality ingredients. Next to impressive small plates like banh cuon, a steamed rice cake, and prawn crackers with noodles or sautéed prok and prawn, the restaurant offers dishes like lamb stew and salmon cucumber rolls which have a French touch. I must say that the chicken pho I tried was a little insipid.
Price.
Main dishes are around 140 – 190 Baht.
Location.
The branch at the Emporium is located on the 7th floor. Right at the escalators next to the entrance of the grocery store. Here is a Google Maps link to the branch in the Emporium. It can easily be reached with the BTS, the station is Phrom Phong.

Last visit of the restaurant was in June, 2019.
