When I was in Gurgaon, India, for work we went to the Food court just down in the same building. And it was a little different to the food courts I’m used to in Bangkok – a lot more food which I’ve never seen before and almost no meat.
Atmosphere.
Well, it’s a food court – it’s hectic loud and busy. There were 7-10 different small food stalls on one side of the room and on the other tables to sit. Manny employees from the offices in the building are coming here for lunch.
Price.
As it is a food court you can get different kind of dishes from different stalls. The prices range from 100 – 500 Rupees.
Food.
The food was amazing. We had a typical Northern Indian lunch plate. It consisted of Naan (bread), Pulaos (rice with vegetables), Dal (soup from pulses), Paneer Gravy (cheese with curry gravy), Raita (yoghurt, cucumber mint), Salad, Gulab, Jamun (sweet fried milk). I have to say all of it was super delicous, but the drink. It was Masala Chaas which basically is buttermilk with some herbs. The sour taste truly is a taste you need to get used to.
Location.
This food court is located in Gurgaon, India in Cyber City. You’ll find it on the ground floor of building 5. Here is a Google Maps link to the Food court.
