When I was in Singapore for work a colleague took me to this amazing Taiwanese restaurant which specializes in Huaiyang cuisine. It is known for it’s freshly made dumplings – you can even watch them make them.
Atmosphere.
We went to the branch in the Paragon mall. It is quite large with many tables. First you don’t realize how big it is as it goes around a corner but once you walk past it you’ll notice it. As it is in a mall it is not inviting to stay for a long time, there are many waiters who bring the food super quickly.
Price.
One dish is around 10 Sing Dollars. We ordered 5 different plates for 2 people which was a lot I must say. But for Singaporean restaurant prices it is on the lower end.
Food.
Well, you’re not getting around the dumplings at this place! This is what they are really known for. And they are delicious as they are made fresh. The choices are not too big but they offer one with every kind of meat and of course for dessert.
Location.
It is an international chain, we went to the one in the Paragon mall in Singapore as it is located super central on the Orchard Road. You’ll find them on Google Maps through this link; Din Tai Fung.
Here is a link to their website.
