When you visit Malaysia, I can highly recommend to go to the Cameron Highlands. It’s a 3-4h drive from Kuala Lumpur. It’s a green paradise. In the centre you’ll find acres of tea plantations. On the main road you have a couple of café’s, but the one I liked the most was BOH’s tea garden.
Atmosphere.
If you go at the weekend all cafés will be crowded. If possible I’d recommend to go during the week. Most of them have a bar where you need to order and pick up your food immediately. The view over the tea plantations is unique.
Price.
The price are a little bit expensive as it is such a touristic spot.
Food.
Well, obviously, you would want to get a black tea with milk. But you’ll actually find a variety of tea’s to choose from and delicious pastry that goes with it. Some café’s also offer sandwiches and western lunch like french fries and burgers.
Location.
Most of the cafés are located directly at the highway 59. Only BOH’s tea garden is a littel off the road. You’ll find signs to follow a narrow road from highway 59. Here is a Google Maps link to BOH Tea Centre.
