This is where I had the best Espresso in Bangkok! Right next to Phrom Pong, this café and hostel even serves a buffet of Thai food for Lunch. We stumbled across this place after a lunch at Im Chan. Find out more about Im Chan here.
Atmosphere.
This café only has a few tabels downstairs for the visitors that come in the morning for a coffee. But during lunch it opens its first floor for more seating. Because during lunch time they’ll actually set up a buffet with a variety of Thai food in front of the café on the street and it is so good you’ll always find a queue.
Price.
Prices for the coffee are quite expensive – but worth it – from 55 – 100 Baht. Prices for the food during lunch time are cheap, street food prices.
Food.
Inside you’ll find café typical pastry. The best is the banana bread – it is super mushy and delicious. You can also get waffles or toasts for breakfast. During lunch, the’ll serve a variety of Thai food with either brown or white rice, depending on your choice.
Location.
It is located at the entrance of Sukhumvit Soi 37. Easy to reach with BTS station Phorm Phong. Here is a link to Google Maps: 39 Espresso.
